Bespoke orangeries built for you

Your beautiful bespoke orangery design will result in a fantastic architectural addition to your property. We’ll make sure that your luxury orangery meets your exact specifications by working alongside you throughout the concept, design, planning and construction processes.

The grandest of statements

Orangeries have been a feature of homes of the wealthy in the UK since the 17th century and were, as the name suggests, originally used to impress guests with the cultivation of exotic fruit trees.

Your contemporary orangery

Modern orangery extensions are usually used as stimulating living spaces, with large, grand glazing bringing in plentiful sunlight and allowing fabulous, framed views out to your garden and beyond.

Flexible, fit-for-purpose designs

Modern materials mean that orangeries can be used all year round, so there’s no limit to what you might choose to use your orangery for – living room, study, games room, dining room or kitchen?

The final finishing touches

As well as delivering a structure of exceptional quality, we can also work with you to deliver a fantastic interior design concept, to ensure that you truly get the most out of your new space.

    The uniqueness of orangery design

Although similar to a conservatory in the use of natural light as a feature, traditional orangery designs incorporate a range of distinctive features which often make them the preferred option:

    • A robust brick or timber framed structure to complement the existing property
    • Aluminium or steel frame orangeries for a more contemporary feel
    • Wide mullions infilled with bespoke glazing rather than a full wall of glass
    • A flat roof with an inset glazed lantern, covering less than 75% of the roof area
    • Modern insulated glass can allow for a fully glazed lantern roof if preferred
    • A deep cornice between the top of the windows and the roof

However, there are no fixed rules in orangery design and build - we’ll work with you to take the architectural elements you most desire to provide the perfect, bespoke solution just for you.
